I seem to be having trouble focusing on the lessons at this point. Anyone have any pointers to stay motivated. I really could use some.

Hi Midge,

I too sometimes "get stuck" and feel really unmotivated. All this is alot to sink in and work on at once. So do as Andrew suggested... just take a break! I call it "stepping off the line". Everyday when you wake up in the morning you have a choice...to move forward, take a step back , or stay exactly where you are. I think staying exactly where you are can somestimes be a refreshing time...as long as you don't stay there too long. A week or 10 days you decide, everyone needs a vacation, or "coffee break" so to speak from work, and this is the HARDEST work you will ever have to do. You can then open up the book where you left off with a fresh perspective and see things you may not have seen earlier because you were tired or overwhelmed by it all. So give yourself a break, just don't be gone too long!
I'll be thinking of you, good luck.

Thanks for the input. I took a long break at Christmas and am not sure if that is why I am having trouble getting back in to it or not. I feel like if I take another break I won't finish the program and that is scary to me. I have seen a big difference so far. Some of my friends don't like the change because I am more of assertive.

I found early on that if i listened to the tapes every day, i would get bored and then the lesson went in one ear and out the other.

What seems to work for me is more of an unscheduled approach.
I might listen for two days then take one off, or i might listen for one day and take three off.

But one thing i have found that i can't take time away from is the the "relaxation".
I do T.M. (transcendental Meditation) everyday.

And i always rest if i feel a little fatigued.

I always do somthing each day, like some kind of challenge (drive somewhere or go to the store etc.) just so i can know that i am making some kind of progress.
