Just have to get a few things in writing about exercising and this anxiety issue. I am absolutely phobic about exercising and having an electical problem with my heart. When I exercise(rare)my heart flutters, I feel dizzy and I have little energy.Does anyone know of cognitive techniques or otherwise that has allowed them to begin to exercise again? Just the thought of exercising, e.g. getting my heart rate up , sends me into a what-if thought pattern.

I was the same exact way. Start slowly, dont over exert. Build up time. and constantly reassure yourself that you are fine and that your heart pumping is normal and good for it. And try to relax enough to breathe properly because that may be part of the dizzy problem. You can talk to your dr. about your fears too so he can give you the ok and that can help to reassure you as well.
