Hello all!
I am wondering if anyone else is struggling with figuring out what parts of themselves and their lives to keep as is and what parts are worth changing....

I've noticed that I tediously pick apart who I am on a daily basis because of this program and especially this lesson (picking apart being a good thing), but that I often come up short with whether I want to drop the particular thing being analyzed or keep it. I know that there are traits I want to drop-the traits that contribute or lead to anxiety, but there are other life practices and people in my life that I wonder if I should let go. I don't know. I just was wondering if anyone else struggles with deciding where the changes should take place.....Thanks for any thoughts!

That's a really hard one to figure out. At least to me it takes just experience and time to figure them out. I would say look at everything in your life, sort of take stock/inventory of what's going on in your life right now and look at behaviors..habits...people. Could some of them be something your doing to yourself?(aka working yourself into a panick attack), is there someone that's draining or having a negative effect on your life?...just think about it for a while Smiler

Hope this helps you!

Thanks Changingtimes!
That does help. I like the idea of "taking stock." I do look around my life and definitely have negative people in it. It's amazing how few people radiate the degree of positivity this program encourages! I think when I "take stock", I will evaluate how meaningful the relationships are to me and then make the necessary effort not to change the ones that are. It's tricky and difficult not to want to fall into old patterns. Patterns get comfortable even if they are unhealthy. That's the bummer thing about patterns. They are a destructive safety net. Your idea has encouraged me to challenge that net. Thanks!! Smiler
