A big step forward is the courage to change your surroundings such as your home/and or garden.

Try TRADING PLACES with a trusted friend or neighbor who has some decorating sence. This takes two days. One at your house, the other at hers.

She will help you change things around your home and you go buy a few things such as plants, silk flower, throws and pillows, etc. Next time its her place.

This can be a part of change and you will feel great.

So, share your thoughts!

What a fun idea! Right now I just need to clean out the clutter. With kids and hubby and myself always bringing something in the house we need to get some stuff out!

And hey, what about a change in hair color. That was my big thing this week. 1st time and I like it!!

Sincerely, Reena

Dear Rena,
Thanks for the reply. Changing hair color is a great idea. I did this some years back and I am happy with it. Then, 1 1/2 years ago I realized I started dressing frumpy. Now I dress with style and my family especially husband loves it!
Best to you. And yest to do it we first have to get rid of the clutter although buying a bunch of attractive baskets, plastic and box containers will give one insentive. Label boxs. Have truble riding self of some things? Need a friend to say " dump it or give it away."

Hi,
Years ago I read a book called 'Clutters Last Stand' I really enjoyed it and it sure helped me get rid of the clutter and now I do ok getting rid of it. I just need to learn how not to keep bringing it in. And my husband declared today the "clean the house of clutter day" and we did pretty good. I'm feeling happy with the results but we still have a few rooms to go. It sure takes awhile, especially with kids to care for.

And I did get rid of some frumpy clothes. I do want to be more stylish. It sure lifts my spirits to dress better. I atleast have the energy for it now whereas before I was too consumed with feeling bad 24/7. Isn't the freedom great? Had some fun conversations concerning hair coloring this weekend. My friends are great. Anyways, hope you have a good tomorrow! Reena
