I have been at this awesome journey for like 2 full years now. I am more positive and strong than I have evern been in my life and this is only the beginning! I have this question: sometimes I will want to pick up another project or do something extra with my homework and the very thought of it just drives me into an uncomfortable spin. THe harder I try to hold onto it the worse I feel. This semester I decided to let go of these things, but is this the place also to press forward and underreact? I dunno. it just disturbs when that I get so stressed out at the mere thought of some things. If I give something up i want it to be because I reasoned with myself. Does that make sense. Any suggestions will be useful. Thanks, and keep the journey on!

I think you are saying you want to do more, nut feel that you shouldn't because it will add stress to your life.

I think we all have to prioritize, do what is necessary, and if we have time left over, try some new things.

I feel I should be doing more in school also, but I have work and other responsibilities.

I am starting the fall 2004 semester in college today, and hopefully I can make the best of it.

I don't know if this makes any sense, but it helps me to write about it because I drove myself crzay last semester with high expectations and self imposed anxiety.

I know what you mean Tahira. I did the same thing last semester. I got so excited about feeling better that I put everything in front of school, worried about school and was pretty stressed out be the end of the semester. I like what you said about piorities. I am learning that one this semester. I've decided that if I can't do a little school work every day then I shouldn't plan on doing a million things until I can. It is working for me and what you said just confirms that this will probably help me. Where do you go to school? I am in Alabama. It's nice to meet people my age that really understand these things and have put considerable thought into them. If you want to my email address is josepca@auburn.edu
