Is anyone taking Risperal. Ever since I started taking Risperdal I've been experiencing panic attacks. Doctor prescribed it because I had a fear that I was going to die plus I have OCD. Now, I'm having panic attacks and anxiety.

yes I have taken risperdal in the past and found it to be very calming and relaxing, i got so calm i had to stop taking it. So now i take it as i need.

yes, I have taken Risperdal. It caused me alot of anxiety because it made my mind very cloudy.
I was unable to do my work. In fact, I couldn't remember how to do my work. It caused me to be very spacey and out of it...and this caused great anxiety....this was a scary experience. In fact, I stopped taking it-
I then was prescribed Abilify - which is milder, and still the spacey cloudy thinking made me very anxious. I stopped this as well.
If you haven't cut out caffeine, please do so..this made me feel so much better. Good luck...Michael B
