Well, I'll just give everyone the rundown right now. During my Junior and Senior years of High School, I was on Depakote to stabalize my moods.(I was diagnosed bipolar about 4 years ago). I was on 2000 mgs at the time and anyone who knows about this drug knows that I was heavy lol. Over the course of about 8 months I decreased 500 mgs about every 2 months or so. I had watched what I was eating and cutting back on all those unhealthy foods and drinks. By the ninth month I felt the best I had ever remembered feeling. This feeling continued until about the middle of September '03 when I started to notice my moods change again. So I asked my doctor to try a different med. Now I don't really recollect in the order in which things happened but I remember being put on Topomax and never feeling the same way again. I also remember sitting in a room on Halloween and getting the the sharp pain in the back of my dome which may or may not have been a migraine, but I've been having head discomfort ever since. My anxiety began shortly thereafter also. Can anybody else recall if meds incited their anxiety or when it began?
