Does anyone have the feeling of unreality or lack of feeling on either or these medicines? How long did it take to start working. I not only have panic disorder but OCD and in hell. I feel like I lost identity, - it's scary place to be.

Psychiatric drugs should not make a person "unfeeling" or "emotionally numb". If you feel your medications are causing you to feel "emotionally constipated" then I encourage you to visit your physician and discuss this with them as well as alternatives.

SSRI's have been shown to take up to 6 weeks to work properly, sometimes less and sometimes more depending on how long it takes to find what is right for you. Some find great relief with their anxiety and depression when taking drugs like this, for some it only complicates things and makes them worse.

Medications of this sort are a personal choice and you need to do what's best for you.

I encourage you to educate yourself and talk with your doctor. He/she can help you find alternatives if you are having problems.
