i'm wondering if anyone is one prozac and if it is okay to have alcohol while taking it. I don't dring much, but i do like a couple of glasses of wine or a daquire every now and then. does anyone know what side effects this can produce? please respone.

Hi - yes, I have been on it for many years. This med is processed (for lack of a med. term) in the liver. So - probably best not to over do the liver. I have a glass of wine now and then, no side effects for me. When I over indulge however, I definitly feel it more the next day. Moderation is key here. Hope this helps somewhat...
