Little bit of background.

I am 31, been dealing with anxiety issues since age 8, and panic attacks since about 21. I'm on Lexapro which has been helping. I still have my days, but then again, who doesn't?

On to the question....

What good is it to have panic attacks and NOT learn anything from them? I believe medications should help deal with the problem but no totally eliminate it. Is it just me or should medication be used to relieve the problem instead of taking it totally away?

I thinks meds mask the problem. I think with help from this program and learning the breathing techniques and talking with others with the same problems we will learn to deal with the attacks and make them less and less until they all together go away.
