I was wondering if anyone else had the nightmare experience with Lexapro that I had. Prior to taking it, my anxiety symptoms were mainly burning and tingling sensations on my skin and reflux problems. Immediately after I started Lexapro, I had anxiety attacks that didn't abate until I took Ativan. I only took the Lexapro for 4 weeks, but this heightened anxiety is still with me months later. I'm really scared that I permanently rewired my brain chemistry. I used to feel tired in the morning when I woke up, but since the Lexapro I feel very nervous and need to take Ativan. Has anyone else had something similar happen to them ?
