Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has taken buspar. Any sucess stories with this medication? How about the other way. I would appreciate any feedback. Also does anyone have any comparison between Buspar and Zoloft? Thank you, Vic |

Vic,
I am currently taking buspar with pretty good results. Currently I take a very small dose of 5mg twice a day along with Klonopin and 200mg of serzone twice a day. Buspar is a non addictive anti anxiety med. Average dose is usually 30 mg per day. I will eventually increase my dose once I am weened off the Klonopin. I have learned that Buspar is most effective if taken with one of the newer antidepressants. (Zoloft, effexor, serzone etc.) If you can I would do whatever it takes to stay away from the Benzos (klonopin, xanax, ativan) they are very addicting physically and they keep you from dealing with real feelings and give a false good feeling. If you need anymore help or support let me know. I wish the best for you always. |
