does anybody know about beta blockers? my doc wants to start me on those.

Beta blockers are designed to lower heart rate and blood pressure. I think your doctor isn't seeing the whole picture. Personally, I would not take beta blockers for anxiety issues. I am an RN and have basic knowledge of medications and conditions.
