Has anyone taking this . let me know if you have taken it , and what any side effect it might have. has it helped or not.? I don't like to take meds so a little anixous about it . please help with info if you can.

Hi Autumn:
Just started Buspar a couple of weeks ago.
Am still on the starter dose of breaking 15 mg in half. Haven't moved up to the higher dose yet. But feel I have experienced some improvement of my general feelings of anxiety. Haven't had any side effects at all at this dose level. From everything I have heard and read, it has a low rate of any kind of side effects, and no sexual side effects like antidepressants have. Keep in touch with me and we will compare notes.

thanks for the information on the med. I helps to know of others that are on it. I have not taken any yet but my counselor told me to think about it for our next vistit which is next week . well see I'll let you know what I decide about it . thanks AJmoon for the info .
