Hi there, I have been on Effexor XR for anxiety for almost a year and a half. I am currently on 150 milligrams a day and I am adding another 37.5 to slowly go to the dose of 225 per day. Since I have been adding the increase I don't feel like me, I am tired and feel weird. Has anyone else experienced this and does it go away as the body gets use to it. Thanks for any postive input. Hi Jillgirl. Yes it goes away. I've done the exact same thing with Effexor XR and I remember each time my dose was raised, a few more side effects went with it, the same ones actually ,but more pronounced. Give it time. You will re-adjust. Effexor works well for me and it's one of the few that does not affect my sex drive.
