Dear Got2becharmed (did I get that right?),

What you are asking yourself is a classic example of how your creating your own anxiety. It's o.k., this is a learning process. Again, the mere fact these thoughts initially cause you anxiety is pure evidence supporting the fact that you are a rational, sensitive human being. You have an obscure scary thought and then you follow up with "what if I just do this or carry out this thought?" Your brain knows damn well you won't thus your brain reacts with more and more anxiety. You'll never act on these thoughts, you were not born like that. Individuals who would find comfort in these thoughts and certainly would not be posting on this forum worried that they would carry these thoughts out. We were just born sensitive people. Which ultimately is a great trait. Work on following up an obscure scary thought with the truth/facts. Keep doing this and your brain will catch on. I recently lapsed and am at 97% recovered and proving this formula for success. Again, you will never act on these thoughts...This is just anxiety....Focus on the solution...God Bless....

Kurstin..The website you posted is that correct..I tried to click on it but it gave me an error message...

I too suffer horribly with obsessive thoughts..They drive me up the wall and cause me to have anxiety and depression..I just can't seem to kick them...
