I wanted to see if anyone knows how to tell if your child has adhd, or if he has anxiety. Is anyone out there experienced with this? My son is really struggling in school, and at home. He can't complete the easiest of school work, he can't concentrate, and he is always angry. They are sending him back to 2nd grade after the first 2 weeks school. We have an appointment set for the 22nd to go to a psychologist to counsel or test him, or whatever they do. If anyone has experience with this I would love any feedback. Thank you for your support.

I am no expert but I have worked with some ADHD children and my own have behavioral problems of their own. It is my experience that these two conditions sort of feed eachother. It is also my experience that alot of it is related to diet. I did an experiment once in which I removed all sugar and junk food from our diets{ and I do mean a TOTAL removal of sugar} for two weeks. He was so much calmer and mellow at the end of that time it was like a total personality change. And this was during the school year. So try changing their diet first. Then go from there. Don't know if it would help, but it can't hurt.
