My son is having problems with anxiety and I was just wondering if anyone has had any success with this particular cd that's sold on this site...I am considering ordering it but I would like some input on it first from anyone who may have it.

Please let me know how you like the cd. I have a 5 year old who has some anxiety issues.

I just wanted to offer some advice...as we all are aware children do not have the same cognitive ability that most adults do...they may not be able to internalize all of the concepts found in this type of cognitive-behavioral therapy. I think adolescents would benefit most from this type of program. However, younger children learn a lot from their home environments through modeling of different behaviors from their parents. Although they may have some predisposition toward anxiety, how it is expressed may be highly dependant on how stress and anxiety are handled by the adults around them. In that regard, I believe that this program would be effective.

Thank-You so much for you input and I totally agree with you...my worst fear was my son getting this anxiety mess...but now that he's having issues my main goal is to deal with them. I did take him to a Doctor and the first thing they tried to do was put him on a med and I was like that's not happening!!! So we have been working with the relaxation CD and am waiting to recieve the other CD. I will let you all know how it works...

No problem...unfortunately many Pediatricians (i'm assuming that's where you went) will try to use medication because many do not know how to treat the disorder any other way. In fact, many do not really know much about anxiety at all. I'm glad you have an understanding of this condition because some parents inadvertantly further reinforce their child's anxiety. Is the cd for kids to listen to, or parents? Can you tell me something about the cd?

Hey MH just saw your reply...the CD is more for the adult to listen to it gives you tips on how to handle what your child is going through....very good though.
