I have been talking with a dear close freind of mine about her nine year old daughters behavior. For the last few years we have touched on this subject, but now it's really at the point where something needs to start happening. We need to know how to have a young person basically go through this program? This young lady is unneccessarily suffering by overanalizing, criticizing, overreacting and as aresult, being constantly disappointed and completely stressed out- I swear she's going to give herself an ulcer by the time she's 12. I have discussed with my friend some of the aspects that she has direct control over- like diet, discipline and providing consistancy, but I don't think she grasps how much the diet and consistancy will affect the situation. Can some tell me some steps I can take as a friend and some steps she can take as a parent. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanx! Reagan

I believe your never too old or too young to heal.I think she would benefit greatly with the program especially self esteem and relaxation excersizes, Ive had anxiety since very young as well, its hereditary in my family,I wish this kind of program would have been around for me back then. Its good that you want to address this problem now its a great kickstart for anyone for a positive outlook on thier future.I believe if that young lady is so analitical shes also very intellegent and can pickup alot of helpfull hints maybe with a little friendly coaching. Its so worth a try dont ya think. Wink
