I have lost alot of weight about 5 years ago from several factors, and I don't feel good about myself or my looks, which I have always tried to keep up my appearance for one to make me feel good and also my husband is the type the woman should always look good even though he doesn't. Whats with this? Anyway because I'm 52, I keep feeling like there is no solution. I look anorexic. I need a plan to gain weight, just as badly as someone needs to lose. Everything out there is set up to lose weight. Nothing to gain it. I need help.

I'm not sure if i'm qualified to answer this, i think the first thing you should do is ask what your doctor things you should do. there are products out there that have a lot of calaries, which is what will help you with weight gain. But that may not be healthy for you. There is also building muscle, muscle weighs more than fat, plus you'll look good on top of it. Hope this helped!

Sorry liberal 1964. I couldn't find where I had posted this. I hope you get this. I have been going to a doctor with no answers other than eat, which I have been. Please give me some examples of the muscle and calerie examples.

I to have a problem with weight. I have been told that I am at least 10 pounds under weight. I am 6 ft and weigh 130 lbs. I went into the military 15 years ago weighing 180 aand when I got out, I weighed 120. Had a tone body (wish I did now) so after a while I stayed like that. When I hit the big 40, I was told I was under weight and needed to gain. But how? I eat like a pig, drink nutriant shakes and everything. Nada. So don't feel like your alone on this topic!
Oh and sorry for misspellings!

MAYBE I CAN HELP, I WEIGHTED 89 LBS. AFTER MY THIRD CHILD. SO MY DR. HAD ME ON INSURE 4 TIMES A DAY IT HAS 350 CALERIER PER CAN. AND COMES IN A LOT OF FLAVORS. I JUST COULDN'T EAT, IT MADE ME SICK TO EAT. SO I DID DO WELL ON THE INSURE. AND WAL-GREENS HAS SOME THAT IS LESS EXPENSIVE TO PACKS FOR 10 DOLLARS. I STILL DRAKE THEM, BUT NOW I AM UP TO 104 LBS AND I DON'T WANT TO GET ANY BIGGER, JUST TONE UP. SO YOU MAY SEE IF THIS HELPS YOU.
HAVE A GREAT DAY, MARY

Mary,
I am glad that you posted that tip from your doctor. I weigh 89 lbs presently and I want to get back to 100 since my son will turn one soon. I will try the Ensure drinks starting this week! Thanks.
