Hi everyone -
my name is Michael, and I guess I'll start posting here instead of on the main boards since I've started the program again this month.
(I had gotten halfway through it before, and did so well, I stopped! Now, I realize that was a mistake!)

So, my question for everyone is this:
do you feel more anxiety coming on while listening to the group talking about their past panic attacks?
I'll lay in bed and listen, and when the woman talks about "going to swallow - and it stuck!"...the same thing starts happening to me!
It never happened before, and I know it's suggestive anxiety, which many of us suffer from. It's hard for me to calm down when I listen to others talking about their symptoms, because my anxiety can make their same symptoms appear in myself.

Does anyone have any advice on how they overcame this?

i found myself getting worked up when i heard them talk in the group sessions 2. i just do the breathing exercise and remind myself that i am the only person that is causing my anexity and i am the only one who can calm myself down from anexity attack. i usually begin to feel better.
