I find that I am so busy during the day that I don't really think about my anxiety, and I usually fly through the day feeling alright. But as soon as I crawl into bed I start feeling very anxious and usually have extreme panic attacks that keep me up until all hours of the night. I can't pin point anything specific that is bother me and I am usually not thinking of anything specific when the panic sets in. Does this happen to anyone else, and if so some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

Me too! Nights are the worst for me. Especially because I live alone. Today has not been such a good day for me anxiety wise. Its my bad day that I am allowing myself to have. The night problem use to be so bad that I would spend the night at different friends houses just so in case I died in my sleep, someone would find me. I am a lot better now though.
Anxiety is living in the future, Depression is living in the past. |

So was there anything specific that you would down to calm yourself down at night. I've tried the breathing and the positive talking and thinking. It just seems like if I start feeling anxious it takes hours to get rid of it. Are you the same way??

Dawn31,
Have you tried some Chamomile tea maybe an hour before going to bed? I know for myself it does make me tired and I also try reading maybe a 1/2 hour before retiring for the night. The TV just leaves me thinking about what ever i was watching. The best would be to do the same thing everything. Good luck and stay in touch! |
