Hi there. I'm just wondering how many of you have bouts of physical pain before/during your panic attacks. I'm praying that I'm not the only one.

I have chest pain every single time I feel anxious about anything, panic attack or not. I am trying to learn to ignore it as to not feed the fear.

Thank you so much. The physical pain is constant for me every morning for 3 months. I'm learning that mornings are my most anxious/panicky time.

Roll Eyes
I've read this post several times and I do read 'HOPE' in it--strong and positive HOPE!! As a nurse I tend to be able to read others before myself, and put others before myself. All too frequently!! However, that is me and I accept that, good and bad. I must say to the nurses out there, I do not know one nurse who has not suffered from bouts of anxiety and muscle tension. It comes with the work. However sometimes we, like me, retire early, and forget that we do not need that morning anxiety and we are not fatigued darn it!! We carry on the negative behaviors, many of us, and certainly I did and do. Anxiety nearly killed me in the past year and I am working hard to overcome it, without meds. Panic is frightening and I am terrified of another bout. Normally I am fairly easy-going so where this comes from has to be a long nursing career, and, for me, a very strong genetic tendency.I think I require more of an exercise program and I am determined to beat this thing. I cannot tolerate another panic attack. That much I am sure of at this point!!

I wonder if any of you have an issue with your eyesight when a panic attack hits. I almost feel like I lose control of what I am looking at. I have to really concintrate, to get were I am going, and try to focus on what I am doing, or I will just run out the door in a panic, because it almost feels like I'm going to faint or have a seizure. I walked throgh the one yesterday and kept shopping, but it really scares me. It is a panic attack, or could it be I need to see if I am having other issues. Working in the medical field, is the pits, because you go through all these senirils in your head of what could it be.
But I think it is just anxiety. or left over from me stopping the use of Vicodin and other meds, I haven't had any for months, but I understand that Klonopin and some others can cause anxiety.

Iget the headaches that start in the front of my heat across my nose and go down the back of ny neck. The neck gets rigid. Till I have tunnel vision. and its only on the right side of my head. Nausea and intolerance to noise. Than the panic,I have to stay still, I can't move, I can't eat, I can't take medicine. I would like to just roll upin a ball and die.
