I'm having a hard time relating with panic attacks. My heart goes out to you that have them ofen. And I know there has been a time when I became very anxious and nervous feeling. However, my stress level is always very high. It doesn't take much for me to get stressed and irritatable. Are these signs of anxiety that lead to panic attacks? My number one issue which lead me to the program is depression. I just am wondering if the relaxtion tape and panic/anxiety issues is going to help me overcome my depression?

I am not sure what makes some people have panic attacks and what doesn't. Usually when I am highly stressed I can keep my cool, and keep myself in line. It is when I get through everything I sort of fall apart. The relaxation CD is amazing, I have only listened to it twice but I can tell a huge difference. After listening I feel like I can take on the world because I am so relaxed! I think anyone would benefit from this, panic attacks or not. It takes you away from your stresses and always you to be you and concentrate on your needs. If anything, I think it would be a great preventer of panic attacks, and trust me, all of us who have had them will say it is worth it for only 45 minutes max a day.

I truly think it will help you with your isses. It gives you a peice of mind, reminding you that you are in control, and you will be ok while also reminding you that you are worth every bit of your own respect and love!

I really like the relaxation cd. I downloaded it onto my ipod and listen to it in the bedroom. I've listened to it twice and I noticed a huge difference the second time. With my panics I get tingly arms and pain in my chest. After listening to the cd tonight, the tingles went away and the pain in my chest lessened immensely.

I too think it will help you. It really does soothe you and help you to relax.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. After posting lastnight I put in the session 2 audio and read through the guidebook. There was a lot of info about depression, not just panic attacks. It actually made me think that I should probably go see my MD to possibly get on some meds for awhile.

No problem, I wish you the best! I am just beginning the second week of the program and feel the relaxation CDs are amazing, they help me to clear my mind ad take things one step at a time.
