In a month I'll be 50. I've been fighting with depression for most of my life. I'm on prozac since 1994, realy good response to medication, but I had to increase the dose from initially 20 to today's 60 mg a day. Death of the father and new job I've started last year didn't do good for me. In december I saw the ad on TV and immediately ordered the program. I hope it will help me or at least will not do any harm. And maybe I could help someone with my experiences. As new married and new father in 1981 I was diagnosed with neurosis and spent 3 months in cognitive therapy clinic in Poland where at the time I lived. It really worked for many years, but somehow I lost the faith or the knowledge. It should be a "refreshing" course for me.

Wonderful! You are just starting the program and are at the begining of an exciting, challenging yet rewarding journey!! I am at a completely different place since starting the program back in April. I recently graduated from the program. Even though I am still learning as I practice my new skills, I am not even close to the same broken state I was at when I started Session 1. Thank you Lord and thank you Lord for Lucinda!

Welcome!

Remember, it is because we are caring, creative people that cause us to worry and that is something that will never go away. I am ready for a relapse, or another panic attack....I for one am changing my thought process to see this as an opportunity to better myself, as lucinda says we have amazing attributes that we need to extend outward rather than inward.

You are certianly on the right track, I could sense the positive attitude in your post!
