Wow what a great session! I don't think I was ever really taught how to deal with anger before. This is great. It's so nice to study anger, and to see how I've used it incorrectly in the past.. I'm only 2 days into this session and I've already used the material to help out a best friend who was in the middle of a "fight" with another friend... This is great stuff!
I'm going to a social gathering tonight where I'll see a lot of the people I used to go to college with (most of them I got along with, but there are a few that really got under my skin) and if I feel any sort of anger coming up inside me I'm going to ask myself these two questions I learend from session 6:
How can I under-react to this situation?
How can I be less affected by what's going on in the outside world?
I actually had a situation to practice on today. The thing that took place usually really bothers me, alot, and I decided not to react at all. What came to mind for me was, "How can I be more effective and less affected". I'm proud of myself. pinkee
