I'm on the first week of the 30 day trial and am ready to send the stuff back. I have heard a lot of it before and really don't like the testimonials. Is there a place here I can ask questions and get some feedback?

You might want to read this.

If you have questions that only the staff at Midwest Center can answer, you are probably better off e-mailing or calling them.

Otherwise you can post messages in this general forum or go to the newbie specific forum to get input from people who have been through the program or are going through it now.

PSV,
The testamonials are real people who have gone through the same thing we are going through. The program is much more than that. Im sure you got a workbook. The program is to teach you more about yourself and how to overcome anxiety/depression. But, YOU have to do the work.It takes lots of practice, repitition and committment. I knew lots of anxiety to before i started the program, but the way its laid out has a purpose. Thats what i found out for myself.
Each lesson is individual. It just speaks to you and whats goin on, with others who have been through the same symptoms. This forum and chat is great support!!! It just up to each person to decide if they are willing to do the work required. Anxiety/depression doesnt happen overnight, and it doesnt just go away overnight either.. I hope you will continue coming here, I think you will find lots of people who are very helpful. Take care NellySmiler

Nelly,

I'm just on week one myself. I'm assuming that week one has more testimonials (meant as encouragement not a sales pitch) and less teaching of techniques than the following lessons. Is that correct?

Thanks,
~ Jeff

Hang in there. It is painful stuff. Working at it can be frustrating as well, but we need to get to the root of our anxiety/depression. I am currently on lesson 4. I don't feel that hot myself, but am better than I was at lesson 1. Invest in yourself. You are worth it. Also, anger is natural and healthy during this process. Find a way to channel it that isn't negative. Do you like sports? EvaMarie

You've only had the program for a week, and you're already so negative that you're ready to send it back Smiler

You have 4 weeks to try this program, so why not go through at least the 4 weeks to see how it works out? Also try to be a little more positive (more about that in Lesson 3 - which you should be able to get to). I'm sure you're feelings about this program will change soon as you move along. If you have any more questions, please join us in the chatroom. If you don't like the testimonials given in the program, why not get other real testimonials live from other people on here? Just please give this program 100% before you give up hope. This really works!

I bought this course for my daughter, she handed it back to me, she quit at lesson 1 also. Thank God she handed it back to late for me to send it back I had it around here, and one day I was so upset, I decided I should give it a try after all I oned it. I found lesson 1 tedious, and I didn't like the way it seemed like an on going comercial for the program.
After week 4 taking me 3 months to complete, because I just wasn't comited to it, because I could not do it perfectly. I got a call inviting me to use the coaching program, I decided to do that. Wow did that ever help. I had to be comitted, and I had to do my homework or feel like I was letting my coach down. by lesson 6 I got my daughter to give it another try, and she is on lesson 12 now, and she is so glad I didn't send it back. Just Do It! you will not regret it.
God Bless your mess

Cheri keep looking up 8^)

Everything always works out in the end, if it's not, then it's not THE END 'Never allow someone to be your Priority while allowing yourself to be their Option'. "What you are is God's gift to you and what you do with what you are is your gift to God" We are just too Blessed to be Stressed!!! May Grace and Mercy be multiplied to you.
