I suggest a forum on derealization, or that spacey feeling that Lucinda always talks about. For me, that is the scariest part of anxiety disorder. On good days I refer to it as "swoosh head" because my brain feels so fuzzy. On bad days, I think it MUST be early onset Alzheimers or I am crazy. It's been there more or less for a year.

You known I could never pin point that feeling until listening to Lucinda. I seem to get the spacy feeling which make me feel like Im on drugs and not in control when I wake up in the morning. I figured it was because I slept to long due to my head hurting. However, as the day progressed it never got any better and I couldnt wait to go to sleep and wake up the next day not feeling like that. I have had it at odd times during the day and then I start to feel a little crazy because I know I didnt have it when I woke up.

This is one of my major challenges in overcoming anxiety. I have had a few episodes of feeling "not there" and never knowing what I was dealing with. Now that this program and this forum has begun to explain the side effects of anxiety and its conditions, I am not nearly as afraid of what happens from time to time.

Mine is definitely triggered by three factors: 1)not dealing with stress effectively 2)being tired 3)thinking about it as to "bring it on".

Those things are everything that this program teaches us to deal with in a more effective manner. But also having a place to share experiences and help others that need encouragement is another major pathway to healing.

I got it all the time too. I did not know what is was until I listened to the program. I did not realize other people suffered with this spacey feeling as well.
