jamie,

Just saw this post. No, it is not just you. I have had these for years. Sometimes they are worse than other times. I know, they feel awful, but it is part of anxiety. I have learned to live with them. When I lost the fear of them, it seems like I don't get as many. Of course always get checked out by a doctor. That might help you lose the fear, when they tell you your heart is fine.

Love and prayers,
Tina

Jamie,
Nope! Not just you. It is a symptom of anxiety. Have you seen a doctor? It sure helped me not to be afraid I was having a heart attack or something.
In my case I did find out that my "slight heart murmer" was being worsened when I drank too much caffine or too much alcohol. I've cut way down on both. My heart hasn't "fluttered" or "skipped a beat" in quite a while because of it. Not drinking too much of either has also helped my depression. But that's just me.
BTW....I have found the 2/4 breathing exercise and regular exercise help a lot, too. I've been doing a morning Tai Chi for beginners combined with prayer.
Hope ya find something that works for you!

You can put me on your list as a yes. I have them on and off and also have chest pains. I'm still trying to deal with both understanding that it is a part of the anxiety and try to just ride them through with the breathing exercises.

I'll be praying for you.
