Hello,

I completed both the Attacking Anxiety and Depression Program (March 2003) and Coaching Program (September 2003). I would definitely put myself in the category of ‘mostly recovered’. I’ve overcome most of my limitations, I’ve begun goal setting, and most importantly I have an unconditional love toward myself for the first time in my life.

I’ve been thinking about this idea for a few months now and just wanted to hear what others thought. I’d like to get together (almost as a support group) and meet up with others in the New York City Area to talk about successes and challenges in terms of overcoming an anxiety disorder. I think a group would have a positive affect on others either going through the Program or people like myself that have already completed the Program.

When I went through the Coaching Program it was nice to be able to speak with someone on a weekly basis that understood and could relate to me. I really feel that speaking to someone that understood what I was going through put me on the road to full recovery.

Please let me know if this sounds like a good idea to anybody and any suggestions would be great? (or maybe there is already a group currently in place?)

Thanks,
pete
