I just got the program and I've been thru all of the coaching jump start DVD's but one. My priciple problem is two fold Agoraphobia and Depression, well maybe anxiety too. Any advice on getting a start on dealing with the agoraphobia?

Agorophobia,
I have dealt with this monster too. Yes the program will help you. I think its all about learning to desensitize your nerves. That takes time. Please be patient with yourself. This agorophobia didn't happen over night and your recovery will take time. Don't give up hope and look at every obstical you face as an opportunity to use the skills you are learning and you can never fail buy trying! I know how frusturating it can be and I have spent many years with agorophobia and I am now free from the paralizing fear. Its not the places you fear it is the feelings you feel while in the places that you fear. Remember that! Good luck and be kind ot yourselfSmiler

I also have agoraphobia and am hopeful about working through it and lots of other issues with the program. I'm just starting out too! For years I've only left the house to go to and from work- often with panic attacks while driving- and have no life as a result. I'm hopeful about working through the program as years of medication and therapy have been money down the toilet so far . I'm excited about learning and growing rather than adding another weak band-aid. Good luck and hugs!!
