lately anxiety and fear of passing out has made staying at work harder and harder but I stick in there and stay all day. Is it ok to take off early without feeling guilty or worrying about it? At this point if i leave early i have to have a good reason and would feel very bad if i did leave without a reason or because I am just not feeling right but that is about everyday lately.
can anyone help me |

Jason,
I recently am going through this with my employer. I work in Corporate sales so you can imagine how surprised I was to find out I suffrer from Social anxiety as well as Health anxiety. It took all my courage to assert myself and I sat all my executives down and came forward with what has been going on. To my surprise they were completly open to me doing whatever it is I had to do to "get better" If that involved leaving early, working from home, or not being presured to sell. All of this was awarded to me by asserting myself and coming forward to them. Also remeber that A LOT of major companies these days are educated on anxiety disorders and they have no choice but to support you. I assure you if you assert yourself you will feel great in the end with results that may benefit you in the long run. Jay |
