Although I know that others may not like the positive changes in me, it can still hurt to have an angry and resentful reaction from an adult sibling. My sister is the only person reacting this way and we were always close but perhaps not in a healthy way. I always had trouble expressing my anger and she explodes with anger on a frequent basis. My response to her has always been to just be the doormat which I no longer choose to do although I have yet to assertively confront her. I have done so with another and discussed this with her stating that this other person has stopped pushing my buttons because I don't react to it anymore. Two days after telling my sister this the abundant nasty emails started which I choose not to respond to. Any advice how to not feel so hurt about this?

just answered part of my own question by listening to session 6 about anger and mood swings(twice) and ordered the book Nasty people that I saw mentioned on another forum. Sometimes what we need is right in front of us. feedback would be good too. thanks
