I do sometimes and it's my fault. But I have a teen who often runs late and I have had to teach myself that it's her problem and not mine.

But I know that if I run late it takes the joy out of what is to happen where I go and create anxiety. Usually what suffers is my looks because I look like I came off a vegtable truck. Whereas, when I have time I do my makeup, dress nice and add jewlery.
And oh yes, that's the day you run into someone and you feel you look eky.

How about you? And does writing and reading postings and replies on this forum get you behind, yes running late?

My husband and myself both do it. I end up having to go to the restroom right before I leave and sometimes that is why I am late. I get nervous energy when I have gotten all ready and theres time left before I need to leave. I don't know what to do with myself so I probably subconsciously try not to be ready on time or before time. Running late means I don't have time to worry and obsess.
One more thing that I will overcome. One thing at a time. But it sure is fun working on this stuff. I think I like to work on my limits because I know I can do it now. I get a boost of confidence doing things so its fun for me. Oh, scary at the same time too. Take care, Reena PS> interesting topic

Me too Reena,
That is run to the bathroom right before I go out the door. I think its because I get nervous as if I won't seem a restroom in the next 24 hours. I don't like to use the one in someones house because I don't want them to think I've gotta go or hear me. Crazy girl thing. And if it's an important place I'm going where I want to look good because friends haven't seen me in awhile I take a lot of time and look in the mirror up to the last minute to have everything past perfect. Then, I don't have to fuss for the day and feel good about myself. Really very silly because I've looked just as good thrown together in half the time -- according to my husband. Yah, fun topic. Thanks for the reply and sharing.
