I live in Northern New Jersey and I have attended a few AA meetings with friends of mine. I was impressed with the forum and the idea of a sponsor. Sometimes people need others to talk to who are going through the same problem either face to face or by phone. Is there anything like this in the program?

I agree about the more personal contact. They are supposed to get a chat board going soon and I think it would be really easy to set up regular meetings with that. I have been known to e mail people by clicking on the letter symbol at the top of their posting.
