I know there are quite a few of you suffereing from IBS. Iwas diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (mild) about 18 mos before I began having anxiety. For some reason, when I started getting anxiety and panic attacks AND was put on alprozolam my colitis cleared up enough to stop my colitis medication. Just wondering if anyone experienced anything like this. Maybe recognizing and dealing with the stress factor has helped. I sometimes wonder if the colitis came as my first symptom and the anxiety condition came later. Any thoughts?
