Dear Reader's,

I just received a hint that I promised to pass on.

For IBS a couple of drops of oregano oil Under the tongue daily...

It can't hurt and if it helps GREAT Let's try it. Report in the folder what you find.

Hi everyone. I am new here. I also experience IBS but the opposite of what I am hearing here. :::blushes::: It's so embarrassing to ask this but does anyone get constipated instead of feeling the urge to go? I've seen my doctor and he's put me on Zelnorm [y'know the tummy commercial?] but it's not working. I get so bloated, I can gain up to 8-9 lbs. It's so frustrating. No one knows what is causing this-but I am experiencing a lot of anxiety and I have been diagnosed as Bipolar and Manic Depressive. I hope someone else has experienced something like this?? Frowner

*I also have unbelievable anxiety to talking to people on the phone, especially pizza delivery people. I swear I almost have panic attacks trying to order pizza so other people have mercy on me and do it for me... Eeker

Hi Dreamcatcher,

Your problem of talking on the phone is a common one. I went thru that myself. I mean, we can hang up the phone anytime we want to but do we realize that? Did you get the program? I think Lucinda has put together an amazing program. Funny thing, I talk to people who have anxiety/panic and I tell them about the program, offer for them to borrow it and they dont want to! Amazing. I figure they know where to find me if they change thier minds. I just encourage you to get hte program and work on the anxiety. Lucinda gives you the skills to work thru this. I had the constipation as well. I would encourage you to check out the ibs audio program too. Its for ibs in general, not just one symptom over another. Hang in there.

Hi Reena----I hope your are doing well Smiler I was checking out the ibs audio site and was wondering if it is still working for you. Is it more the dietary changes or the hypnosis that works? Maybe a combination of them both?

If you have time send me a post.

Happy Holidays Big Grin

I have IBS something horrible. I have been suffering for about 7 years with it. Now that I have the program, I understand that it all stems from my anxiety. I have a horrible time trying to get out of the house in the morning. I have been late to work for 2 weeks now (I am lucky to have the nicest boss in the world.) I am only into week 2 of the program, so I am hoping that I will be better soon. I thought I was the only person to suffer with this.....thank GOD it's not all in my head...this is a REAL problem.

Hi Overtheedge and Serene,

I believe it is the hypnotherapy program that has produced the most results. I am still watching my diet and will probably always continue to do so. I've read that others have had their results hit them a few months after finishing the ibs program. We are all very unique so its hard to say how much it can help. For me I am very glad to have found it. I figure that any improvement is worth it, no matter how long it takes. I still have icky stomach days here and there but not half as much as before. Old habits die hard. Let me know if you get that program and how you like it. The program doesnt talk about dietary changes or anything like that. I just wanted to make sure you understood those two are separate. If that made any sense...lol.

Thank you Reena. I feel that most of my IBS stems from my anxiety. I know that it IS a medical condition too....I am REAL careful about my diet. I have discontinued ALL use of caffiene and diet drinks. I thought that would make it MUCH better, but so far (3 months) not much change. I can eat carbs mostly....if I add any veggies or meats, it all goes to the shitter (so to speak).
