I have been diagnosed with IBS a month or so ago although I know I've had it for the past year. I am on a new diet which has been working but I get a lot of sharp pains in the upper part of my stomach and also in my chest (left side).

Anyone else experienced these sharp or shooting pains? Is it gas as I expect?
