Hi all,
I suspect candida overgrowth and so recently purchased the dietery supplment Three-Lac based on the information from a very informative website, candidasupport.org (or it might have been yeastsupport.org- can't remember which). Anyway, I have yet to try it, but wondered if anyone else had tried it and whether you have had success.

Since you posted this long ago, you have probably tied the product, Hope it went well. I do not know about it but I do know about candidia.. and removing sugars, breads, most grains (simple carbohydrates) really helps. Recently I have seen the positive results of eating a predominently RAW diet, Helps most of the problems people list here and on many other sites. Fibromyalgis, IB, improves physical anxiety issues, the skin gets lovely and clear.. etc.. there a lots of web sites giving fee recipes too. I am working on learning how to prepare food more... it takes some time to learn . Good energy wishes for you.

I think it would be nice to have a Natural Health Forum where we can get ideas about supplements, articles in reference to raw foods, aromatherapy, accupuncture, healthy recipes etc.
It would really help so many of us that are afraid of medications and want to try some healthy alternatives.

Talking about natural supplements; I tried this product called; Digestrol, for almost two months and saw NO results! I contacted the company and they agreed to refund my money. There was another product on the internet promising to help IBS sufferers but it was so expensive and this time I contacted a registered dietitcian to look up the product to see if their claims were true. So glad I did because she said there was no documentation to support their product. That literally saved me $318 a bottle! Now, I'm back to square one but the dietitician did give me some information on some natural supplements that might help. One is "Blond Psyllium" It's high in Fiber and is effective for relieving constipation and softening of the stools, also good for diarrhea and IBS. Another product is "Bifidobacteria" This helps balance the good and bad bacteria in the gut. The last was "Guar Gum" another high fiber item that helps IBS. My dietitican also pointed out that any supplements people buy should be alert that unless it's been tested and has a "USP VERIFIED" on it, there's no way of knowing what's really in the product and how much. I'm still searching...

I've tried threelac. I don't know if it really cured me of candida but it does help move the bowels. I also take probiotic supplements too. I've been on antibiotics 4 times this year for sinus infections and my stomach has been a mess. It still is a mess but slowly getting better.

I've been trying that new yoplait yogurt; YO PLUS for about 2 weeks now plus eating something else high in fiber with it in the mornings and I must admit my "D" has slowed down a lot. Now I find myself worrying if I'm going to have a BM at all! LOL

I know how you feel. I stopped taking the threelac and tried something else and I got so bloated and felt horrible (most of my anxiety came from this and my sinuses). I tried everything and then went back on the threelac and probiotics and have had regular bowel movements. I can't believe how much can come out of you.

Hi Everyone with Candida,

I have suffered with IBS for at least 20+ years until I found out my REAL PROBLEM which was Severe Candida and an overgrowth of bad bacteria in the gut. If you have a Candida problem this can cause you a list of problems sooo long that you would not believe it. The only way to really know if you have a Candida problem is having a bowel test (that you do at home) and send it out to the lab. When your test is finished it is returned to your Holistic Medical Doctor. A regular Medical Doctor will not know anything about this condition to help you. Your Holistic Doctor will then go over your test results and start you on a program to get well.

A good book I have used that really helped along with what the doctor gives you is called The Yeast Connection Cookbook by William G.Crook, M.D. There is also more newer book that you can get but make sure the author is William G.Crook. This Holistic Doctor really know his stuff about Candida.

There is a special diet that you have to follow like getting off of sugar, pastas, bread, fruits, potatoes, rice, yeast products, fermentated products, etc. Don't worry I eat alot of foods on my diet I use stevia as my sugar and I am very creative in my cooking. It is well worth it! You will feel so much better and your bowels will no longer be any problem. Also, you have to take a good probiotic to get the good bacteria back in the gut. Eat a yogurt that is low in sugar usually you can get a good brand at your health food store. Eliminate stress and live a more carefree lifestyle like what we are learning in the program.

Good Luck,

Happy Face!!!
