I just wanted those of you who deal with this disorder (I have in the past)-
to know that there was a GREAT, informative, sympathetic, insightful article in the August 13, 2007 TIME magazine. (the one with Katrina on the cover)
It offered a lot of scientific studies and thought on the origins and treatment of the disorder.

I found this article very interesting! Thanks for providing the link. I have always (since about 12) have had tics, I know it is probably Tourette's but, I didn't realize that this may be a reason for my OCD, anxiety! You put the connection together for me from reading this article and I finally (after 20 years) had the nerve to contact the Tourette's Society and ask for a referral to a doctor! I had gone to a regular, general MD about this and he told me "just stop doing it." What a jerk!!! This site can really open up your eyes and help empower us to find the help we need. I still, however, find the lessons in the Program very helpful to me and a godsend! But, it doesn't hurt to find all the help we need!!! Thanks!!!!
