hi |
Hi, I´m a 29 year old male from Ca. I believe I have one of the worst cases of ocd but I think its mainly because I left it mostly untreated all my life. My obsessions have changed during the years but these religious obsessions I currently have are the worst, before it helped to read about people with similar obsessions but i cant seem to find anyone with the obsessions i have which makes me extremely lonely. Here it goes, my brain is like a broken disc, my brain keeps repeating the following words over and over: "hel*" , "locked in hel*" , "devi" etcc.. i have many others . the problem is that i associate these thoughts with what i´m doing , my work involves activating phone services with internet access to customers, i´ve had several instances when exactly before or during the activation when the "service order" for an activation appers on the computer screen my brain has reapeted one of the obsessive scary thoughts i mentioned above. I feel scared all day that maybe magically somehow I contaminated that customer or me with the obsessive thougths because i was the first person to see that new service order number.. I just want to know is there anyone out there with the same obsessions maybe you work at a bank or some job where you activate new services for customers , or maybe you dont have ocd , i just want to know has someone out there said or thougt of the words hel* ,or locked in hel*, or devi* in their job while the new account number or service order appeared on the screen...well thanks for taking the time to read this post

OCD - I don't know your religious background or
your beliefs but I am a christian. I believe in heaven and hell. There is a power far greater than the evil in this world. We have a free will to choose either. Satan is always there to kill steal and destroy but God in his power and through our prayer can defeat him. Simply put, get in God's word read, absorb, talk to him like you would a friend. He knows everything about you. He already knows, he's just waiting for you to look solely upon him flat on your face looking up and saying I give it to you Lord Jesus. We need to realize how present Satan is all around us, his influence is more than we realize and we are no match for him without God's power in us. He promises that to us. His word says if we know the love of God he gives us the power to move mountains. Read 2 Corinthians Chp. 4, all of it. This chapter gave me great comfort in my deepest moments of depression and anxiety. I pray for you and I believe this program is an extremely effective tool for us to overcome. God wants us well he calls us to him in spirit. Answer and open your heart to him. It's the best decision you can make to chains holding you down. God Bless you and praise God for all things |

I must say that I disagree with leap. I agree with the fact that there isevil and good, however whatyou have is Scary Obsessive Thoughts and no more, this is known as Pure O.
I have Pure O myself and I finished the program two years ago. I have also read many books on OCD as well that has helped me tremoundsly! This is not the devil getting to you ect. It is your mind. You must realize it. It is so important to remeber that you must just let the thoughts be there and the more signafacance you give to them the stronger they become. Please read BrainLock and there are other great books for OCD. Please email me if you would like more info. |

Agree with Mel 75,
The more significant's you give the thoughts is the worst you can do.Let them pass away. |
