It seems that my OCD which is mostly an obssesive scary thought is often triggered by
anxiety causing situations or anythng that reminds me of the thought. I could see something on TV and Boom the OCD triggers. Intrestingly, when my anxiety is not there, my OCD goes away too. Can anybody relate? Also, has anybody heard of or tried Imaginal Exposure as a way to cope with OCD?

My obsessive scary thoughts are of my cancer
returning. It is consuming my life.
I don't know what to do. Counseling hasn't
helped. Celexa made me shake terribly.

Does anyone have any tips for me?

Thank you,
Silvia

Never heard of Imaginal Exposure. I will have to look that one up! And... yes...I know exactly how you feel about your OCD Triggers. Happens to me as well. I have to be very careful what I watch on TV or read.
