I'm currently taking 75mg of Paxil for my ocd. If anyone has had any luck weaning from it let me know. Thanks Laura

Hi Laura,

My doctor took me off Paxil & put me on Zoloft for my OCD. I didn't have to wean off it-all I had to do is on the day I started Zoloft I had to take the Paxil too for the last time. So I went from Paxil to Zoloft without any problems. If you're not going to start a new medication you may want to ask your doctor. I hope this helps somewhat!

You have to wean VERY slowly. Try taking one every other day and when the side effects go away, one every third day....and so on.....

If you can't do one every other day, try a smaller dose.
