I always have words go through my mind. For example, whenever I look at any of my children I cannot think of or hear the word death or anything that has to do with it, like funeral or something like that. I've had this problem since I was a little girl. I have to picture in my mind or hear the word life. I also do this when I see the word death. I have to look around the room or store or wherever I am, or book I may be reading, until I see the work life.

Yup, that sounds like OCD. It sounds like your obsession is the fear of death, and your compulsion is that death wont happen if you bring up the word life. There is a REALLY good book called "The OCD Workbook" and its By: Bruce M. Hyman. It explains all the different types of OCD's and how to cope with and cure them. I have it myself and its been helpful just to read that im not the only one who thinks this way. So ya may wanna give that a try. I hope this was a little helpful. Take care!
