Hello...I know im not schizophrenic but I keep getting songs and imaginary scenarios, images and conversations stuck in my head...I am having SOME success at controlling them but this is scaring me, anyone out there have the same thing?

Deinitely. I thought -I- was the only one out there that experienced songs. It started when I was in high school and taking the SAT's. I swear I heard the entire Wedding Singer soundtrack while I was taking the test. I looked around no one else seemed to hear it. Since then it has quit until this year and now late at night I hear songs I don't even listen to... like Cher. I am a death metal kind of girl so I really don't know where this is coming from.

It calms me to know someone else out there is going though similiar experiences.

search in the old posts, i think there were some
discussing the songs, do not worry it is quite common, me too i have sometimes songs stuck in my head, it is quite common... when we are anxious even this scares us, but try to see it from another side and sing along , the less it stresses you, the faster you will flow with it and you won�t even notice them...
By the way, even people without anxiety problems have the songs stuck, they just don�t care as much as we do...
