This may sound stupid, but I was wondering if i have obsessive compulsive disorder becuse I pick. It's a nervous habit, but heaven forbid, I get a zit, that baby's in for it!!!! Any little bump or abnormality or mosquito bight, gotta pick it. I think there are a lot of people out there that are like this becaus emy mom, my sister, my aunt, my oma, my cousins, we all do this.
But, God, do i ever make a mess of my skin. My huubby says it's not noticable, but half of the time i don't even realize i am doing it, sometimes i catch myself picking at a scab or something in PUBLIC!

That doesnt really sound like OCD to me. In a book i read "picking" comes along with the feeling of not being clean or being totally paranoid about germs, diseases, bacteria or the smallest specks of dust. Lets face it, there are just some people out there who like to pick Doesnt necessarily mean you have OCD. It could just be a bad habbit hon. I think when we have anxiety we forget about the word "habbit" and skip right to "OMG its OCD!"..lol I know some people are gonna think im TOTALLY ill manored after i say this, but i have theeeeeeeeee worst habbit of picking my nose!!...lol No lie! I'm awful. I'll be riding in the car with my mom and i will catch myself with my finger so far up my nose and be like "OOOOH s*it! i hope the people in the car next to me didnt see that....but how could they MISS IT!!!..LOL! I mean, really, talk about picking things, i wish i could have found a better habbit than that one..lol! Dont worry about it too much. Just sounds like a habbit hon. Usually OCD pickers will dig and dig and really mess up their skin, making it bleed, leaving scars and stuff like that too. Take care!
