Hi,
I have just joined the site about a week ago and I feel as though this site is not the best for getting the support you need. Especially, when you are having it rough!

I have posted several comments about having it rough or just in general asking questions and I see that there are many views but no responses. It is hard going through this and there is no one that knows more about this than each and everyone of us. I am just saying that we need to come together and support each other. If you view the file take a minute to write an uplifting word or answer a question if you don't know write down you don't know, but at least we don't feel lost...

Sorry had to say my peace and I hope that no one gets offended by this email!!

ricky, I'm not offended. I'm glad you spoke your mind. I cannot say enough about this site for help. Almost every time I'm hurting I get help. I will gladly answer any questions if I can and if I don't I will admit that to you. Sorry, I was one of the people that viewed your post before and didn't answer. Please know I'm here for you as I know others are as well. If you feel more comfortable to PM me go ahead. I will check here again later to see if you've replied. Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. Where are you in the program?

I am about to start cd # 2. I have been struggling for most of my teens and adult life with this, and it is frustrating to see that 25 people have looked but no one has responded. I just felt as though I had no one on here.. Thanks for the PM invite and I will take you up on the offer if I need anything in the future..

Where are you in the program?

Is it working for you?

I've struggled with anx/dep then bi-polar ADHD for over 30 yrs. Didn't realize I had ADHD till diagnosed in 95 and bi-polar in 2000. So it's been a long haul. The program helped me but then I got into another stressful situation and decided to do it again with a coach. I have one lesson left. I am currently struggling again with depression. I've been on vacation and haven't listened to my tapes cuz I needed a break from everything. I am now listening to Joyce Meyer. Have you heard of her? Next week I will do my last lesson "growth spurts" which is probably what I'm currently going thru. I will press on and move on. You will do well. You will get others comments, I'm sure. Glad to hear back from you.

dear Candi I've had the program for some time , but have not worked it consistently. Will try to do better. I'm doing session 10--obsessive , scary thought and am trying to read 10 0f those statements per day for 21 days have not done them consistently. so wonder if that matters .I have a hard time believing what I'm reading because it's so not me. It seems like i;m lying to myself. Sorry candi I read your messages. but did not answer ,because i had nothing to offer you..Some one, I think barb G invited to PM her. I don't know what that means and how you do it.I have kind of jumped around on the lessons, and have a hard time journaling. I do pray for all of us on Wed. nite. God bless you and sincerely that this program will help us. As I've mentioned before the first tape I listened to, I guess it was HOPE. but I had no anxiety for 2 1/2 days and have not had that great experience since then. But I know it will come .You hang in there.and you to will make it
Love erna

Candiandricky,

I am sooo sorry that you feel like no one is here helping you! I will be here for you if you need anything! I am 24 years old and I have been told by my doctor that I have panic disorder. I read your profile and I see that you are pregnant with your first child. What a joy that is going to be for you! The Lord along with my program have helped with me. I think that my prayer group has helped on here the most. I would love for you to join! It is Wed. nights at 10pm EST. Let me know if you would like to join it has helped me all the way! If you need anything let me know. If you need to talk I am here. I want you to know that there are people here for you and that no should feel alone. I will keep checking back on here to see how you are doing and if you need to talk just let me know!

God bless! Jennifier

Dear Candiandricky,
I was glad to read your note because I felt exactly the same way. No responses and frankly for me, reading everyone elses problems caused me anxiety. This is something I have tried to avoid, not hearing about other people's illnesses or problems. This morning at 3:00am when I was fearful I wished it was more like the familiar emails when you can expect to get a response. Maybe a personal coach is the answer for me and you? I'd like to be able to talk to a professional who can help me by answering questions, etc.
I am going to give the peersupport a rest over the weekend. Also I'm not confident on how to work this type of computer program.
Hope to hear from you and your problems...maybe the group session is too overwhelming for me.
I wish you the best and everyone out there.

Where do you go for the Wed. Night prayer group?

Also, where would you find a personal coach?

Again, I thank everyone who responded..

Candi,

I want to let you know that having a child will really give you some motivation. I would have given up long ago if it weren't for my children. They give you something to fight for. When I am having a really bad time I focus on one of my children all they have accomplished what I want for their future. I'm new too so get intouch if you need a friend. I don't do PM but can e-mail me.

Remember Candi,

The human mind likes logic, order, and reason. We like to deal with issues we can wrap our understanding around and come up with solutions that make sense to us. We have a tendency to think small because we are limited creatures, and we don't have the perspective to understand from God's point of view. We tend to put things in tiny, neat compartments in our minds, telling ourselves this must be right because it fits nicely there. We need to depend and trust in God to show us things in such a way that we know--with an inner security--that what has been revealed to our mind is correct. One must not allow themselves to reason with their mind, searching for logical solutions. Instead, you must say, "My trust is in the Lord, and whatever He tells me to do, I will obey."

Prayer

Dear God,thank You for loving me more than I can even comprehend. In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask You to help me love and honor You so much that when You speak, I will have only one thought in my mind, and that is to obey. Amen.
