Tom, Session 4 is on expectations, right? Give yourself permission to chill and remember what Lucinda says, sometimes you have to 'fake it til you make it.' Be patient with yourself and know that it will take time to change your thinking. Also, I relate to feeling like you aren't learning anything. But keep your eyes and ears open for opportunities to USE the skills outlined in the program. I don't know about you, but sometimes I fall into expecting that I'll have some great revelation at each session but it doesn't happen every time. And the times when I have had an 'eye opener' it is because I took a risk and put the skills into practice even though I wasn't sure if I believed them or even understood them. I've also taken an extra week an a session if I felt it needed more time...but don't get stuck. I hope some of that helps. Don't give up and be gentle with yourself...talk to yourself like you would a friend. Certainly you wouldn't tell a friend to give up on a program like this. You would be encouraging and supportive. You are allowed to be nice with yourself. Sincerely hoping things start looking up for you, Goodwillchic

I actually related to Session 4 so much that I suggested my wife listen to the audio because it describes me perfectly. I think if we are patient with ourselves, we can make miracles. I can feel my energy level stay high gradually week after week of this program. What I did with Session 3 that I had hard time grasping is to continue onto Session 4 and then, I went back to read Session 3's notes and listened to the audio for a 4th time. Things seem to come together this way. You might try this approach. quote: Originally posted by tomd: Thank you everybody for the words of encougement it helps i am taking a extra week on four just feel like im not doing it rite but i no it takes time so thanks
