I am currently taking buspar for anxiety, but s
sometimes I feel like I trouble concentrating. I wonder if I should switch to an antidepressant.
I tried Effexor and Zoloft a month ago, and I did not sleep for a week. Any advice?

Did you ever try Lexapro? It seemed to help me with deprssion. Makes you sleepy and takes some of the edge off, but all these drugs come with awfull side effects.

kbauer...I take buspirone as well. It is a very clean med as my Dr tells me. I take 2 10mg tabs 3x/day. It does make me a little spaced out but not as bad if I take it with food. I also had a terrible reaction to effexor, like I had drank 10 pots of coffee, after only three days on it so my Dr switched me to mirtazapine(remeron) at night which has a sedative in it.45mg. otherwise I can't sleep.

What works for me as prescibed by my doctor is 1 pill of Clonazepam (generic Klonopin) 0.25 MG with 1 pill of Zolpidem (generic Ambien) of 10 MG at bedtime, 1 pill of klonopin at lunch and 1 pill of klonopin at about 5 PM. I get sound sleep. If I have a date with my wife, after our date, I take the afternoon pill along with the bedtime dosage.
