Good morning,

Is anyone out there doing yoga? I started on Monday and it is great. There are breathing exercises that are wonderful and you focus on all the stretches. It is helping alot. everone should try to at least give themselves at least one hour a day for doing something they like to do.

peace with you!

Yes, I do my sun salutation every morning. I also have been practicing Tai Chi. I think both are good for people with anxiety, as it gets you to slow your breathing and has a very calming effect.

Hi,
My wife got a Wii Fit. it has yoga activities. I was reluctant to do yoga in the past due to some of the meditations and chants that I heard about but, Yoga can really help. I am 62 and it has helped me loosen up and be more flexable. Use common sense and it can really help.

Good morning everyone! Yes, yoga is really great. I have an immemse respect for it, but do not participate in it myself. I remember taking a class in college called The Basics of Yoga. We learned all the positions (downward dog, etc). I think it is really great for relaxation. I actually took the class to help me with my anxiety and depression. But I did not know back then that it was bipolar disorder that was affecting me.

I have been attending a beginning yoga class for three months now. I has helped me so much. I have lost 17 pounds along with eating right. I recommend yoga to everyone. It is hard to do at times if your deep breathing is not difficult. It is a work in practice!

Wow, that's inspiring. I'd really like to take up yoga. I'll have to see if anyone offers it in my area.
